of urban influences in the nature preserve of the Lobau, 100 m2 of everlasting
rain, 100 m2 of light, 100 m2 of eternal exhaust gases. In cooperation with

2005 Survival Jackets Fashionshow,
shows fashion wich includes a secret shop in the lining. With one of the jackets
you can start a job in the informal economy; selling e.g. home made coockies,
eggs from the chicken, vegetables from your allotmentgarden, the fish from a

Hamburg. Projects on Flüchtlingslager and windmills.
2003 Human
Vector exhibition with seven maps of Rotterdam drawn as a landscape
site, with mountains, meadows, lakes and forests. The maps are remarking the
density and position of shells, darfs, spiders, grasshoppers, deafs, figs and
"dens leepelblad"- creatures that were able to find an ecological space of habit
in the human cities. Places as in an archaic landscapes like the Grand Canyon.
Places in the shadows of the skyscrapers, on their roofs or in the dust of highways.

2001 Werkstatt
Wendorf, renovation of a deserted school in Wendorf, eastern Germany,
and transformation into a hotel for sabbatical leave. Commissioned by Sabbatical
Cells BVi.o, grant from the Dutch Foundation of visual arts.
2001 Free-range Kitchen can be placed
foot-loose. No cables, no sewage pipes, but a filtration field with vegetation
to recycle the waste water. A huge ice-cube provides the cold in the refrigerator.
Placed in the Milan Droog design Exhibition, in cooperation with Schie 2.0.

Toilet, a vertical compost- toilet to place on the first floor. The
composting-container will be on living-room level. Self-proposed project, in
cooperation with Atelier van Lieshout.
2000 Free-range
Headquarters, the new office is a self-sufficient mobile caravan, supplied
with composttoilet, kitchen with vegetation-sewage filter, solarpanels, mobile
phone, portable computer and internetconnection. It can be moved 40 km per hour.
2000 6,500,000 Dwellings,
exhibition for Rotterdam Cultural Capital 2001 about 100 years of housing history
in the Netherlands. Commissioned by dS+V.

Kentucky Coffee Bar in my Backyard, research on the Villa-district in
Hilversum, exposed in a espresso-bar with Kentucky Worms to recycling the coffee-waste.

1999 Learning from Berkel
en Rodenrijs is an urbanproject focused on the rules for developing
3 locations along the main street. Comissioned by: Vinex-projectbureau Berkel
en Rodenrijs.
1999 The Hague Central Station
connects the two stations CS and HS by a 1500 meter platform. All transport
systems, from tram to HST stop along this platform. A Tapis Roulant wich contains
a Coffee Bar reduces the time to transfer back to 15 minutes. Location Hoog
Hage, commissioned by city council The Hague.
1999 Snackloket
IJburg is like a McDonalds for birds. The ecological advice based on the food-pyramide
delivers the conditions for landscape design of the Island IJburg, Amsterdam.

Autonomous House, a strategy to create new nature by allowing farmers
to sell self-sufficient dwellings on there fields. Commissioned by: AIR southbound
(Architecture International Rotterdam).
1998 Silence versus Noise,
sound-proof-buildings in Waalsprong. Three different strategies against noise
polution; stay back, seek shelter and isolate, leads to an intense programme
along the main street. Commissioned by City of Nijmegen.
1998 Hoekse Lijnen,
analysis on postcards of the Hoeksche Waard presented in both statistics and
images. Commissioned by AIR southbound.
1998 The Vinex-biotope,
advice in Ypenburg 10 (a so called 'vinex' suburb) based upon sustainability
and environmental issues. Commissioned by Amvest project development, co-operation
with MVRDV.
1997 Free-range Urban
Planning in Vijfhuizen, design for a rural suburb of 250 dwellings
with a minimised infrastructure in favour of optimised garden space. Commissioned
by City of Haarlemmermeer.
1997 High Technology, Deep
Ecology, vision for the future of the Rotterdam neighbourhood Blijdorp
based on sustainable technological development. Commissioned by DTO and the
city of Rotterdam.
1997 Schie Power,
the future of the Netherlands in 2030 based on responsible consumption, commissioned
by RPD (spatial planning department).
1997 Chameleon-housing
in Achterveld, the city of IJsselstein, 4 working/living houses disguised into
the neighbourhood. Commissioned by the city of IJsselstein.

series of 4 silk prints of traditional spatial aspects in non-traditional maps

water saving toilets in the Delta Expo on the island of Neeltje Jans, commissioned
